It's Smiley who is Ben anyway but on-topic, do you think we'll ever find out what happened between Ben and Sayid since the Economist?

Yeah, they're bound to tell us. Sayid has been acting strangely in S5 - as in, we can't tell why he is as he is. He was quick enough to rally with Ben again in Ep4, but then quickly went in Ep5 - both with little explanation.

The Ben/Widmore/Sayid story is a big hole at the minute. I am looking forward to learning more. I think they've spent too much time getting off and on the Island, with no focus on their time off the Island. Three years has been covered in S4's FFs... Now it's all about going back again. The lack of FB/FF structure has caused some of this.

I wish they'd hurry up - the flow from season four to five isn't very smooth. I also want to know who the economist was.

There has been practically no flow. It was messily done - my blood boils everytime we return to the Searcher. They destroyed the climax of the finale with their innane witterings on the boat, and they still haven't finished it.

i'm pretty sure we'll find out who the econimist is, and no doubt it will blow our minds. until then though im quite happy with Sayid's reinvigorated ass-kicking skills.

I wish they'd made Richard a main character. Stupid Cane. He could have been main for the past two seasons. I just find is strange that so much of the story is based around an (excellent) recurring character.

he is a gem, and the fact that hes not a main character is confusing. still think he'll have a major part to play though ((other than "burying" Jughead and going to see Locke as a kid ))

I think we are going to get a lot of Richard and Widmore towards the end of this season. I really want to see some scenes with them together.

yeah clash of the titans. would love to see alpert win, but widmores one ruthless guy. Alpert does have agelessness on his side though
