UK Forum "No Spoilers" Reminder

Orientation for the UK Forum:

The UK Forum was created so that British viewers of Lost could discuss Lost without fear of spoilers, and so that we wouldn't have to avoid the forum between the episode airing in the USA and here in the UK.


No Spoilers

The UK Forum has a strict No-Spoiler policy, breaching this rule excessively will result in punishment. Everything about future episodes is considered a spoiler, including episode centrics and information gained from trailers.

If your avatar or signature features something from an episode that hasn't aired in the UK you must remove it before posting here.


Pace

Lost airs on SkyOne every Sunday night at 9PM, starting on the 3rd of February. Once an episode has aired it is no longer considered a spoiler and you can talk about anything that happened in that episode freely. You cannot however talk about trailers aired after the episode.


What to do if you see a spoiler?

To assist moderators, and your fellow countrymen, in keeping the UKF spoiler free you can do the following when you see a spoiler posted here:

Hit the report button (red triangle ) in the top right corner of the post, explain what the problem is (simply saying "Spoilers" will suffice) and a moderator will deal with the post as quickly as possible.

Alternatively you can send a private message to a moderator informing them of the spoiler, CurbFan and KittyLili are most likely to be able to help you. If either of those moderators aren't online don't hesitate to PM a member of the Forum Patrol, either Dharma Ranch Dressing, fredcar or ADDICTEDTOTHESHINDIG.


What if I need to post a spoiler?

It seems highly unlikely that you will ever need to post a spoiler in order to participate in the discussion here, but should such a moment arise you must use spoiler tags. To use the spoiler tags you should use the code:

If you don't live in the UK you still need to follow our spoiler rules when posting here.


Non-Lost spoilers?

We ask, out of respect, to your fellow users that you use the same spoiler rules when posting about other television shows, Heroes for example. If a topic is marked with a certain pace, ("BBC pace", for example) you must post about the show accordingly, not mentioning anything that has happened in episodes that have not yet aired.
