There two things I like to discuss.

1.About the the "save walt party", I'm sure they had a plan because when the wispers begin, they all act like they did'nt know they're going into a trap
but they know because Michael already told them so they must have a plan.

2.About Sayid, Sun and Jin. At the end there not back yet so maybe in the first episode of the third season they will spot Hurley or something new

What do you think?

...i've wondered myself quite a bit what became of them and their trip. it seems pretty unlikely that a pillar of black smoke nearby didn't attract the attention of the others. hey, perhaps that's where Henry Gale was coming back from on the little boat; maybe he sailed out to have a little talk with them? hmm...

Are you speculating that Sayid is captured too? That would suck, he's my candidate to lead the lostaways in Jack's absense.

I think they did have a plan because if you look closely Kate and Jack look at each other and nod, as if they're expecting this. Idk, that's what I saw.

As for Sayid's party, who knows what else they'll find. The island is proving to be a very odd place full of very odd things... Maybe they'll run into Michael.

I agree that they seem to have some sort of plan. Then again maybe the plan was to be captured alive and get some answers. That nod could have been a "Let's rock." nod or a "We're dead.".

I'd still go for the plan.

As for Sayid, Sun and Jin. I think we seen them at the time of the flash, I think... But I think it would be too much to hope for (for them that is) that their trip back is uneventful.

Yes we see them and I don't think they been captured.
