Quick question – if you could help please, it would appreciated.

What is the term given to TLE which meaning that it does not tie in with the overall mythology of the show?

I have had a look on the main Lostpedia site, but cannot yield anything. I am sure I saw this term there before, however cannot recall what it is.

You're thinking of "non-canon". Although, I think TLE is semi-canon. Look up Lostpedia:Canon for more info.
