Temple Logo

[Thermos]

Something tells me this logo is a clue, but I'm still not really sure what it's supposed to tell us. I hope it's something that seems obvious looking back when lost is finished.


Either it's supposed to seem blank in respect to the other dharma logos, or that T figure on the bottom is representing something significant about the temple. If the former, perhaps the Temple is the source of the "blank slate" the characters are chasing after?
The T most likely represents the tunnels, but that makes it seem like smokey is really what makes the temple special (as there's nothing else in the picture). I would easily believe that he is the source of the reset visions that could lead our losties astray.

Thoughts? What does this logo mean to you?

No, that is the real Temple logo (seen in MKJ).

There has been dispute over whether it's accurate, but I think it is.



^these are the most notable versions. I think the altar one is accurate.

I think the 't' is an altar, and I see the black field as sort of a 'black sunset'. That's just always what my reaction to it has been...

YES. I always thought it was supposed to be a sunset or sunrise.

Yes! The temple = garden of eden (LOST's version, not the real/biblical one). Maybe it's a tree of knowledge or tree of life.
