While I don't think your theory is completely on target, you bring together several smaller theories sensibly.
I would certainly agree that the island is the home to some very special goings on as they are relevant to what we see happening in the show (visions, time hiccoughs, invisible island). I also agree that the island itself is being fought over by several factions who want control of it because of its powers. This also is directly linked with the doomsday scenario that is supposed to occur.

you gotta remember that mikail did the research on finding out about people, so he knows everyone from BEFORE the crash, so when he's spitting details about everyone, when he gets to Locke he says that the Locke HE knew was paralyzed meaning the one that boarded the filght, he himself is amazed that Locke is walking, cause the info he gathered had him listed as paralyzed

Edit: Just an idea that came in my head about that. Maybe he just didn't remember all the information he had gathered about the Losties, he probably handed it out immediately to Ben, so he had only a fleeting memory of just John Locke. Just thinking out loud. Last edited by Muse; 04-17-2007 at 06:06 PM.. |

According to my theory. Maybe there are some people in that plane who are important, selected people ( people on list of jacob ), who were "put into" flight 815 by mittelos agents.
And the rest of the people are only sidekicks, non important people. On those people Mikhail did not do any researches with his "time-telescope" before the crash. Maybe after the crash when they realized, that Sayid is coincidentally an "interesting person". |

I think each of the islanders had cameras implanted behind their eyes. I also believe the researchers use the cameras to moniter the islanders behavior. I further believe the flashes, in the scene where Juliet and Kate hide in the tree to escape the monster, were a result of pictures being taken of the monster by the researchers via Kate and Juliets eyes. At one point or another, most of the islanders seem to have scares surrounding an eye. Rachel also seems to put a lot of emphasis on cameras. Some of the verizon commercials attached to the lost experience are camera centric. I took both to be clues. My guess is the researchers are working for Dharma. Probably staying in a facility located beneath the ocean. Why do I think they are located beneath the ocean you may ask? The young lady Mr. Eko went to visit remained under the water for a number of hours, yet she lived and in fact came back to give Mr. Eko a message from his brother. How could she have lived for a number of hours under water? Perhaps she was in a facitlity located under the water at the time. It would explain why Locke was wet on the pier. It would also explain Walt being wet in his vision to Shannon. Lastly, I would venture that Desmond's third eye is acutully scenes being fed to him by the researchers. Could I be completely wrong, yes, but even I have a right to speculate.

The camera theory sounds strange to me. Doesnt explain the Numbers or the coincidences and many other things.

Tom from the others is the same Tom from Kate's childhood only he has aged and Kate hasn't. I believe the island suspends or stops it's inhabitants from aging. I'm interested to see how they will explain Walt's aging once he returns. The only explanation that comes to mind is that he left the island and continued to age. I got this idea from a portion of the lost experience. When the guy who discovered the significance of the numbers theory was found, it was mentioned that he hadn't aged a bit. He had been staying on some remote island. Based on Tom's age, I think they have been on the island 10 years at a minimum. Which leaves me to my next point, I don't believe Tom died in the car accident, I think he's in a coma. Why else would Christian freak out and beg Claire not to allow her mother to remain in a coma. I bet Christian worked for one of the companies in the past doing research and is well aware of what they can do to patients who remain in comas.

I wonder if that glass eye of Mikail's plays into my camera theory. He probably took it out so the researchers couldn't monitor him.
