Yeah. She said in an american based interview that she asked to be killed off. That will will be making guest appearances for season 5 though!!!!

Here's a thought. Perhaps they fully intend to tell us Danielle's backstory but are going to use a younger actress. Seeing as how she came to the island 16 years ago, I think that it would be plausible. I don't really think Mira could pull off looking 16 years younger to be honest.

She looks pretty much the same now, and 1992 was 16 years ago--which works out just right. So she could easily show up for a flashback and have no trouble--uhh--looking like herself.

i can understand what they mean though. they have to stay in hawaii for 6 years filming the show and that's bound to get boring after a while. after all, they're lving on a chain of islands. there's only so much to do there.
