Calling it right now: This is Richard Alpert's centric episode, and it's going to be one of the show's most epic episodes, ever.
I dare you to prove me wrong.

I sure hope so - really want to know more about him. But no hint in the show that the character of Richard is the ethnicity mentioned in the spoiler, and also the Black Rock is a British ship, right? You may be right and I hope you are, but what makes you both so sure it's Richard?

Well, Nestor Carbonell is latino, so they might work it around his ethnicity. The setting just screams "Black Rock", but I might be reading too much into it.

If Hurley weren't latino, I'd also say this episode is Richard-centric. The timing seems to make sense, and yes, Nestor is latino, but there just isn't enough evidence yet. I don't want to get my hopes up.
