mhm, exactly.
same here. the only thing that makes me wonder is, daniel faraday left with the people on the little boat, and then the island moved. how could he of turned around and come back to the island after it moved? because he wasn't on the island when it moved. catch my drift?

maybe because they were close enough to the island that when it moved it took the near by water with it.

It's really a strange concept of time travel, if that's what's going on. You'd think that if the island itself acted as a time machine, it would go back in time and carry everything on the island with it, including the beach camp, Yemi's wrecked plane, the imploded hatch... all of these things would remain as they were, just like the people remained as they were. But instead, it's as if the people went back in time to an earlier version of the island. In other words, it's as if the island did NOT move in time, but the people who were on it did. But ... we know that the island did move don't we?

I was just thinking the exact same thing man. I dont think that at this point its gone back to one specific time period. I think that after the islands move its gonna be flucuating in time moving back n forth erratically.

There's no doubt in my mind that we will see the hatch again this season. I also think it's pretty safe to say that the man who occupied the hatch before Desmond will be inside of it, and that when Desmond arrives at the island he will be faced with the option to once again punch the numbers.
I think one thing to keep in mind is that there seems to be something supernatural about the island. When I think of time travel only, a lot doesn't make sense. But when I factor in the whispers, the cabin, Jacob, and Christian's ability to pop up out of nowhere and disappear again... there is still a lot of mystery outside of time travel. |
