Default Something that really annoys me

It's the way many many people misspell characters' names. One of the worst I've seen is Lock. A lock is something you use to keep a door, or a gate etc. closed. It is NOT the way you spell the Lost character John Locke's name.
Another that gets on my nerves, Juliette. It is a varient of Juliet, but the character in the show is Juliet. Not a big difference, but still.
People who can't spell Lost characters' names are not real Lost fans imo.

yeah, people who misspell character's names don't deserve to live ... they are scum ... an inferior, filthy kind of subhuman that should be taken behind the off-topic forum and shot without last supper or any of that sort of pampering

and while we're at it, we should take out the people who don't put their commas and sh*t correctly ... damn bastards!

You do realise not everyone is a native English speaker or many things can affect poor spelling such as dyslexia and the like. There are far more important things to worry about in life than a couple of spelling mistakes

I'm talking about these so called "txtspeekers" Remember AYAOTS and DiarmyHowley? AYAOTS was American. Native English speaker. Diarmy is Irish, native English speaker.

You guys are funny! I'm a teacher and I always manage to cringe at the sight of these egregious spelling/grammar errors. However, I think in the context of this forum, we have to let people have some leeway. It's all written in a casual, colloquial manner, and almost conversation-like and free-form. Even though I don't like it by any stretch of the imagination, I let it slide by on here. Ssssh, don't tell my students that.
