if it is the end of the ARG, and i think it is, that email was just a huge slap in the face to all of us. i didn't even do the whole thing - and im glad i didnt - and im ticked. we spent the whole summer pouring over everything for nothing, nothing was revealed, we didn't get any new knowledge from the ARG about LOST, and we've all just pretty much wasted our time for it to be ended in an email so uncharacteristic of the rest of the game. it's a bunch of bullpoop!

Yeah, I got that...but I don't see "Q&A" in there anywhere, and I'm not sure why so many people are assuming there would be one, with the guys doing the show and other projects right now.

Okay, it's over.

We did get the Chang Video which is canon, and also has some clues... It was great that we all put our heads together, and created a game outside of the actual game. We should all graciously pat ourselves on the back for our efforts, and move on to keep trying to make sense of all of the info we do have. We all still learned a ton from the experience.

So did ABC run out of money due to the financial crisis and decide to end the ARG or is this par tof the game? It's lame either way but let's assume for a minute it's part of the game and discuss what clues are in the e-mail.

If the people funding the D.I disapeared maybe that's becasue of Sayid's killing people? Maybe those people he killed were involved in reinstating the D.I? Maybe this getting off track is due to Ben and his machinations. What do you guys think?

I think the ARG got canned. Explains the early end date and the very jokey email from Hans. I think the Q&A with Darlton is a way of softening the blow to all of us who spent all summer frustrated in ARG-land.
