Hahaha...the "snake" is a watermark from an unpurchased stock image?? Having a graphic design degree and using those stock sites all the time, I am more than a little embarrassed not to have noticed that. Jeez. You know this means that I am just wandering around in a haze believing whatever I am told. I can't help it. I just love LOST too much. It's like the "sickness" !!!

I did think it was not exactly snake shaped.
    Though even I hoped...
    How embarassing for us .

I posted this on the actual Chapter 2 thread, but just saw this thread as well - anyone else notice the hidden images on the walls of Sam's berth on the Christiane I? I wonder if its some weird relic of the web server, or what?

i did notice them. i don't have any real type of imaging program on my computer, so other than adjusting contrast and the like i can't really do much.

mainly i noticed the "letterhead" thing in the desk area... although when i first saw it it looked like some kind of numbers to me.

I noticed it too, very weird.

Did the first TLE center around the happenings on just one website primarily? It seemed like much more of a global hunt.

It was very much a "global" hunt. Had to go all over the place to find clues, and it was also multi-media.

I just thought it refered to the island. Didn't Sayid once remark on how North on his compass was no longer true north? That because of the magnetism a normal compass wouldn't work? So maybe this one is a model with correction built in.

thanks for capturing that! i was never quick enough for any of them. i think it does seem suspicious that the oceanic ad was flashing through his diary.

Well thats not her eye...is that Sams eye on the side?
Did he record this over Oceanic footage or something?
