OMFG NO ! It's not Sawyer ! There is NO cast regular in any new scenes. We will just see a previous scene from season 1, that, with the new elements we'll get, will have a totally different meaning.

You're right. It's not Sawyer, I was mistaken. I watched it a few more times and I am pretty sure it can't be him.

How about Jack, Kate and Locke looking at Adam & Eve in "House of the Rising Sun"? We see two people die and flash ahead to that to confirm their identity. Or was Charlie there too? Though he isn't a main character anymore so they might not have meant him.

put that part of my theory to bed.

I still think the underground areas are hugely important to the story, which is backed by the Finale featuring caves, sinking, a volcano (?), etc.

Where did you see the finale having anything to do with sinking? That's a theory. The spoiler said shaking, not sinking. That's consistent with an earthquake or a volcano eruption, but neither requires the island to sink. There is supposed to be some underwater stuff, but some of that was done in The Candidate, and some is done in the flash-sideways. We don't know if any of it is on the island, and if it is it might all be in an underground cavern.
