Well, Lostpedians are doing a podcast, just without the Lostpedia name as of yet. It's getting there thoughNow we know we have the listeners, it's worth our time more to do more preparation and editing etc. We didn't want to spend ages for like only one person to listen

Listen here
And yay for any other non-wiki features.![]()
I notice that I am one of the tags, I feel special.![]()
Why not just have a contest for "cool new feature"?
I bet you, if we turn this into "America's next inventor" type deal, where whoever submits the best idea gets featured, full cred, on the website, as well as custom forum tag, etc etc, this thing will blow up...
One thing I think that would be interesting, is a section for fan art and other media. I'm sure several of you have seen things like this: http://www.4815162342.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=23991
And if there was a system, perhaps on free-source programs such as that used at hotornot.com, where people can rate the material, and then the stuff that isn't serious, or simply doesn't attract attention can be dropped off if it doesn't maintain a certain level of votes. Not only would this attract a whole new genre of fans, but it would encorporate them into the forums, build the fanbase during the massive downtime in between seasons....
well, thats my three cents
A countdown to the start of the next episode !
Quite true Mr. Leaf. Hadn't thought of that.
One last point : I often do back and forth trips between Lostpedia & its forums. Often, I check something on the main site and get here to check out what's the community opinion. But more often, very often, I read threads here and get back to Lostpedia to check out what's the "hard data" on the subject. The thing is, there's not link that I can see on the forums. Wouldn't it be a good idea to change the top banner link (which gets you to the forums anyways, and you're already there) to the main Lostpedia site ? Or add another link to the main site ?
You can scroll down the the bottom of the page, and in the bottom right for quick access there is a link that says "Lostpedia". Clicking it takes you to the main page.
Also you can install the Lostpedia OpenSource plugin if you have Firefox or IE 7. Use this link to download. Then you can search directly via the search bar your browser. Just open a new tab and you don't even need to go to the homepage.
Hope this helps.
Lostpedia, bottom page.
