Yes I mean the alt. Rewatch "White rabbit". He was going to Australia, to bring back Christian ALIVE.
Christian could quite easily be alive, because of Sawyer. Who might have never met him and things could be different on Ana Lucia's end also.
There was a mention of a phone call in Lighthouse from Jack to David. Which Jack still ended up hearing. This is similar to the phonecall Christian was supposed to make in "Outlaws".

Unless there is huge twists with David's character, he is simply Christians substitute, for Jack's father issues.

Somethings had to stay the same.

John Terry will probably return at the end as a real ghost.

But it's obvious he couldn't return before since if MIB was still able to take his form, he would have no reason to look like Locke anymore, thus they would have to get rid of O'quinn "on the island" and they would never do that...

It could have something to do with him being on the show "Trauma". He is appearing in episodes that are airing right around the time of S6. I would guess he hasn't been asked back though (at least not yet).

John Terry appeared in 18 episodes, including last season's The Incident. What could possibly have happened that he's not available for an entire year? I think that if the writers would have wanted John Terry in the first 13 episodes, he'd be there. They simply want to wait - IMO for an emotional Jack/Christian scene in the finale.
We'll see if John Terry appears in the finale, I'm guessing that he won't be. The fact that his dead body is missing from the Alt, and he has revealed to have been MIB in the regular timeline, with MIB now stuck as Locke makes me think that Christian won't be seen in S06 at all.

Also im not panning any of this. As someone once said, the best ideas come by accident. Maybe David will work out better, although his placement in the hospital looks awfully out of place.

I'm sure MIB wouldn't create a ghost of Isabella telling Hugo "we have to stop the MIB" ...

So I still think Jack will see his real "ghost" father in the finale. Unless Isabella was JACOB, but that would be utterly lame.

I agree. The ghosts seem to have conflicting agendas, so they're real, not manipulated by Jacob/MiB. Real Christian can appear to Hurley, and tell Jack via Hurley that he's proud of him. Cue Jack crying, the audience happy by being rewarded emotional climax.

Or maybe Jack becomes the new Jacob and has the power to see dead people as well. It can go a million ways.

I'm sure there's tons of actors that didn't want to come back/weren't asked to come back. It'd be interesting to at least have some sort of list or something. We already know a few, but that's about it.

There’s a moment sailors call slack tide. When the tide is neither coming in nor going out, but perfectly still. It’s a moment frozen in time, when all is calm and peaceful. The only downside to it is that it passes so quickly. As much as we might like things to be suspended in time, they never do.

guys, it makes sense that the way to fix someone's daddy issues is to make them experience it from a new point of view: make them be the father and see how hard it is!

It doesn't matter who we were. It only matters who we are.

That is exactly what was going to happen, until John Terry was like 'What? I'm not taking part in an ensemble cast in which fifteen dead characters all play one new one that wasnt introduced until past the 100th episode!'. So instead we've got Locke all season.
