It's not as if the script leaves the hands of the writer and goes right into production. I'm sure they all read all the scripts and discuss ways to improve them before they finalize them. The whole writing team is involved with every script, even if the primary writers are the only ones that get credited. The whole team plots out the contours of the season and breaks down the episodes together. It's standard practice for writers to circulate their scripts to the whole writing team before doing a final draft that the executive producers can still modify before filming.
