Any significance? Seemed like an odd patch to have on your backpack.

I watch Lost for John Locke. To see Locke, to hear someone mention his name or make some reference to him, to see him resurrected.
Missed that -- screen cap?
Very, very odd for the daughter of two French scientists.
I saw a stars and stripes on the right side top of her pack, not stars and bars.
Where are they right now? Like, in the US? I may have not followed everything correctly, but aren't they still in LA? Or California at least?
I'm more concerned with the fact that Alex lived in America and had no trace (not even the slightest accent) of French heritage... did Robert and Danielle decide to put her up for adoption in the US? Is there a thread discussing this?

Team LOST is over!
I noticed that for sure. It was right in the middle of her backpack. Seemed very very out of place. There did seem to be other flags or patches all over her backpack. My first thought that it was an old state of Georgia flag (that used to have the confederate flag on it) but I don't think so. I think it was a straight up rebel flag.
I noticed it, too. At first I assumed all of the flags were just because of her love of history because most of them seemed to be European except that one (at first glance, at least). But I like the idea above that it was just meant to foreshadow the coming civil war on the island.
Also, how did she end up with the same bag she used to carry on the island? And is she dating Karl?? jk unimportant details.
