sooooooo I just finished ADWD

these books always use a lot of foreshadowing which always made it interesting to re-read. however after watching the second season of the show over i got to the end and realized that mirri maz durrs prophecy wording was changed from sea to river running dry, which kind of takes away from referencing the dry dothraki sea in adwd. what are your thoughts on the validity of what she said as a prophecy of sorts?
