I just wonder what can be so important about them that a whole episode is dedicated to them.
The first time they were in a scene (can't remember wich episode it was), my boyfriend and I were laughing so loud about the stupid lines they gave these 'extras'. And now there's a whole episode about them... I wonder if I can stand it

total bitch hey? and who cares about money after 80 days on the island? I mean.. I'd still dive for it, but it would be more of a fun thing, not such a Nazi bitchfest! Paulo should have swam to shore with a fish, and beat her with it!

On another note.. ok had to check, this is a spoiler thread... I heard the 'rumour' that Paulo gets shot in the head in this one.. I'm sure its just to throw us off, because its random, but somehting I know from Zombie movies, is that when the dead come back to life, you shoot them in the head.. maybe someone is burying him when he comes to life.. and blammo! But I do remember Sun saying to Sawyer that there is only 1 grave... or that she could have a second one made for him.. something to this effect. So maybe noone knows Paulo is out there? and Nicki dies from being buried alive?

and I woulda posted this in the "someone is gay" thread lol, but thet may have not watched these videos, Maybe 'expose' is a name of a magazine (posibly what is being advertised beside apollo bars on the soccer match screencap above), or a model agency which Paulo/Nicki worked for? and both nicki and paulo are bi, until they were on the island when they hopped on each other.. i dont know Paulo's backstory, but Sawyer did call Paulo "Zorro" and anyone who knows Zorro, knows that the full name of Zorro is "Zorro - The Gay Blade".. and well, Nicki was just pushy, and butch..

I'm really not sure which one of the two of them is going to die. From the first trailers, when we glimpsed Nikki rushing back to the beach, I was pretty sure she was going to be the only one to end up getting buried alive and that Paulo was just going to stay in the jungle in the spider bite induced coma.
Considering it looks as though they only dig one grave, and from what we've seen it only looks like Nikki gets buried and that the character death is supposed to be a pretty horrfic one, I'm pretty sure Nikki is going to the be one to die (hope not though, I mean I'd rather have seen Nikki and Paulo get a bit more screen time).
But, isn't Rodrigo Santaro leaving this season anyway? I know there's still plenty of eps left this season for him to get killed off, but it seems strange they'd kill another character off in place of him if he was going anyway.

I hope they are just a more extended version of the arzt character. Introducing them to kill them off, but just doing it longer in advance. However, it seems that the fact that they have a flashback episode is disproving that theorey.

Seriously though, I do hope this episode doesn't suck horribly. Damon and Carlton seem pretty excited about it for whatever reason, so hopefully we'll see some kind of pay-off for these characters. If not, then hopefully we'll just have another epic Final-Destination-style death sequence. I particularly like the idea of Sawyer shooting Paulo in the head because he sees him "rising from the grave". I can see it now -

Charlie: Oh my God, you just killed zombie Paulo!
Sawyer: He was a zombie?

Sounds like gooooooooooooood watchin'.
