I think he sort of has to die, but of course this show consistently impresses me by doing something I don't expect--or think I wouldn't want--and then making it work. At this point I feel like the end will come down to Walt fighting Jesse, after Walt's replaced Gus, but who knows. No matter what they do, it will be fun to find out.Originally Posted by Jim108

It's gonna be great to see Walt winning and Jesse reinvested.
I'll be ready to bet that Walt is not gonna die at the end.
Wasn't Gilligan unsure about a fifth season when he wrote the end of season 4? It could have ended that way.
So at the beginning Walt had a family and no money. At the end he'll have money and no family. It's gonna be awful/awesome when Hank finds out about him. Arghhh! But we'll probably have to wait another year for that... yeah, this truncated season still sucks.
