Thoughts on Preview for Next Week (possible spoiler)

So at the end of episode 316 we see Locke about the hang himself with Ben apparantly falling to his knees in reverence. What I found most interesting about this scene is Locke stands in a very specific looking pose with his right hand pointing outward. I knew I had seen this pose somewhere before and did a little looking around then I remembered it was the pose that was given for none than....Saint John the Baptist, pointing with his right hand..The universal pose that was given for this saint







I dont have a screen cap of John about to hang himself, maybe another member on here can provide that.

After a week or two of describing Locke in Christian terms, we'll get to see what the Others think of a guy who rises from the dead (Osiris, anyone?) or perhaps they'll see it as evidence that he's the reincarnation of one of their founding lamas.... or.... *shrug* Who knows what the Others believe -- but I can't wait to find out.
