    I think that ben is the client. Remember at the end of S4? Well, this is from the transcript:
    =========
    JACK: Why are you here?
    BEN: I'm here to tell you that the island won't let you come alone. All of you have to go back.
    JACK: (Scoffs) Are you... (sighs) Sayid--I don't even know where Sayid is. Hurley... (scoffs) is insane. Sun blames me for... and then Kate... (chuckles, sighs) She won't even talk to me anymore.
    BEN: Perhaps I can help you with that. This is the way it has to be, Jack. It's the only way. You have to do it together, all of you.
    JACK: How?
    BEN: I have a few ideas.
    (Jack sighs deeply and turns to leave.)
    BEN: Jack... I said, all of you. We're gonna have to bring him, too.
    ======
    So, I think it is part of Ben's plans to unsettel her, get her on the run where she has no where else to go.

    I would agree...
    The sad part is: now that we've all seen that, we've already seen a good chunk of that episode...I was noticing while watching Season 4 on my DVR, once you cut out all of the commercial breaks, it's like 32 minutes of actual story...It all goes by so fast! <sigh>

    Thank you Erowyn!

    Actually 42 minutes of programming - but you're right. There are a lot of commersials - 18 minutes worth.

    Default ABC released season 5 promo question

    When you go to ABC.com and you go to "shows" and then "Lost" and then the first automatic promo that comes up is the one we've all seen of the scene with Ben and Jack in the hotel. And I've watched it a couple of times, but I was showing it to my cousin today and we left it up and didnt click out of it after the video was over, and it started playing another Season 5 Promo that Id never seen before and its a scene with Kate and Aaron.

    I don't think Jack would do something that mean to Kate. He loves her. That isn't in question and even with how much he wants to go back to the island, I think it would be out of character for him to purposefully hurt Kate to achieve his goal. Plus, when he berates Kate about not even being related to Aaron, I don't think it's because he is mad at her for pretending to be Aaron's mom, but that he is high on painkillers and drunk on alcohol and he isn't thinking straight. I mean, he looks crazed and remorseful almost immediately upon saying that to Kate.

    Plus, even though Kate apparently isn't talking to Jack anymore (which isn't entirely true considering when he says that to Ben he had just come from seeing Kate at the airport), Kate can't be that angry because she has a picture of him and Aaron on her desk (you can see this picture near the end of the sneak peek when she is heading out the door). I would think if she was that angry with Jack, she wouldn't leave a picture of him right out in the open in her home.

    No, I think Ben orchastrated this tog get Kate on the run so she would be more willing to go back, having no home anymore.
