Just FYI, derpin', as unpolitically correct as it may be, means 'being retarded'. From the phrase 'herp de derp' (i.e., impaired speech). Now you've made me feel a little awful having explained it... :|

I had never heard that 'herp de derp' was connected to impaired speech I thought it just meant being goofy. First I heard of it was on this page:
