I was watching tv and wondering... Since when is it ok to show dead bodies on television? I remember there being some threads here when they did it in "Confirmed Dead", saying that they would never show bodies like that. But now I see dead people on tv all the time!

Yeah I was pretty shocked at how much footage of dying/dead Gaddafi they showed at 6 o'clock.

That surprised me too, though it's like a counter point to Bin Laden's death were everyone said "where's the body?"

Parading dead bodies like that make me feel ill though dying sucks, killing should too.

Yeah, here too. 6 different newspapers all with the same picture on the front page and nothing else. But it's not just Kadhaffi (I'm really not sure how many ways there are to spell his name) but others as well and I just thought it's really weird that they're showing it. Yesterday they showed the footage of the Chinese girl that was run over by a car and saying something like ''beware, this footage that we're showing LIKE RIGHT NOW is VERY SHOCKING''.

I heard about that. But somehow I feel worse about how the pictures of Qaddafi () are being exploited and spread for no particular reason than actually showing the world just how messed up China is.

Very true, I'm sure Caddhaffy would not have liked that. The Chinese girl was just an example. They also show the bodies of innocent people getting murdered on the streets..


On another very unrelated note,
Just got mail from two co-students. We are working in a group with four people, but since these two felt there was not enough ''communication'' they decided to make half our project themselves and give me and the other person all the crappy work to do. Last time I checked I asked THEM to come together as a group so we could divide the work with all of us present.

Grr. At the very least they could have done some GOOD work so that I wouldn't have to spend so much time correcting it all, since that is apparently my job now.
