Could he be appearing in Episode 7? I'm still holding out hope that It's a Richard centric.

This is very, very good news. I was kind of worried that his appearance in "The Incident" was just a one off and that TOQ would be the only one portraying Jacob's Nemesis in S6. I actually rate Welliver higher than Pellegrino, so I'm certainly glad we'll be seeing him again.

In regards to Richard's centric I'm not expecting it until late in the season. I think at least the first 9 episodes will follow the pattern of S1 and centre around the original Losties with flashsideways showing how they would have ended up if 815 had never crashed.
After that I think we'll start getting more traditional centrics for the likes of Ben, and Richard. Although i wouldn't be suprised if Richard was the only character who gets flashbacks next season. Ben has holes in his backstory that do need filling in though in my opinion, so I'd liek him to get one more flashback.

Terry probably will keep portraying Jacob's Nemesis in the present, though. They'll probably bring Welliver only for some flashbacks.

They said halfway through season 6 they will stop doing flashbacks.

I really hope that Titus shows up in A LOT of flashbacks...or he leaves Locke alone and walks around as himself.

So, my guess: Welliver coming back = Locke being alive?
You see, Terry O'Quinn will be definitely part of season 6, but if Titus Welliver will be back there's no need for a Mr. X disguised as Locke. This probably means, that O'Quinn won't play Mr. X....and the only one left is Locke.
What do you think?

Awesome, but I've had this idea that X--or whatever body he was in when he talked to Jacob, may not be his true form. Welliver returning does not immediately mean he is absolved of being Flocke. Titus could appear in FB's, as a former Other, an ageless wonder like Alpert, part of something bigger among people who are not really people, an apparition of Smokey, a ghost, etc.

I am not certain X is Smokey, but if he is, he may need to take a physical form to exit the jungle. Welliver may have just been his meat suit of the day, from some other dead guy who was unfortunate enough to have landed on the Island.

Yeah, you could be right. Maybe we'll see him in a RA flashback dying and ending up as substitute for X, or Smokey. He could be the captain of the Black rock.
