Richard hammering tunnel Wall...

The short preview for next show depicts Richard hammering at a tunnel/temple wall and I am really trying to sort that out. I asked my son what he thought and he suggested maybe Jacob is behind a security wall or containment unit. That could be a theory like in the wizard of oz. What if Jacob is a real Ass playing everyone for a fool and working them like puppets, watching them kill each other... Damn that would be Sadistic. So maybe thats why John Locke has to kill Jacob !

Maybe Jacob is the one who screwed up the island !!

Agreed. The mods have taken considerable precautions to eliminate spoilers from the forums leading up to the season finale. I would change the title of your thread and label it as a spoiler thread right away!

I'm sure a mod will move it to the spoiler thread, but to answer the guy since I saw the preview too, I'm sure its not a big thing in the plot, probably just Richard opening up the way Jughead got into the chamber in the first place like he said. He had said they would get it out of there the same way they got it in.

Richard is hammering the wall in 1977. If you look at the screen caps, you can see Eloise Hawking in the background.

I'm not too happy about this, but it looks like LOST is using Gnostic undertones similar to the storyline of the Matrix and V for Vendetta. Jacob will most likely be a manipulative, all powerful being that traps everyone at the island with a lie; and Locke will end up being the hero that sets everyone free.

Interesting as that seems, I have my doubts. Another thing are we certain that is a tunnel or temple wall? Could it be the wall in the Orchid or Swan station, we do know the exotic matter is located behind walls in both stations. IDK just a thought.
