Well, me know about Juliet and Claire. Boone announced on Jimmy Kimmel he was coming back. Here's the rundown, according to Imdb.com.

Richard Alpert Boone Carlyle Ilana Leslie Arzt (LMAO) and three new actors David H. Lawrence Robert Miles (as "Ben".....) Right, there's far more new actors than that known, and far more old actors known. And Shannon is not one of them, sorry, because Maggie Grace turned them down. Practically every old cast member is back.
And we know the starring cast-everyone from season 5 except Daniel, Charlotte, and Juliet + Claire, Ilana, Richard, and Frank.

I think with Maggie Grace this issue was schedule conflicts; she's just done (or will be doing) three back-to-back-to-back films. Can't remember where I read that, though.

That doesn't make any sense. On Lostpedia it says Shannon was in 29 episodes, and IMDb says she's shot 35. That means six more episodes with Shannon in it. Plus, it says she's gonna be on LOST in 2010.

Is IMDB fan edit-able? If so, it's probably just an overzealous Shannon fan throwing her in because of 'rumors' or assumptions. as far as I've heard, she is not coming back.

But I doubt we'll see much of him after he chewed out the producers. Walt on the other hand still has a lot to develop. Like his apparent psychic abilities. Its been hinted ever since season 1 that Walt would play an integral role and seeing how the writers had the endgame already in mind when they began production on the show I don't see how they wouldn't let him back for season 6. Maybe he's the catalyst to merge the timelines or acts as some kind of oracle that the others consult in, or is met by because he still has the memories of the other timeline, much like I believe Desmond will also have. Point being, the writers clearly had something planned for him and I doubt they let it slide, mostly because I know the writers want to expand on him so much more and they're running out of air time to squeeze him in. I can almost bet a million bucks that Walt will be much more than old footage from season 1, because honestly, they cant use him now for an LA X would couldve been scenario since he looks WAY much older than he did in season 1. He's going to play an integral role in merging timelines or actually being a part of the endgame. |

About Walt coming back... I'm pretty sure I've read or heard from Damon/Darlton on more than one occasion saying that Walt's story could get explained but that doesn't necessarily mean that they need the character of Walt to do it. While I would love seeing taller-young-adult Walt doing some crazy psychic ish on the Island, I *could* accept an explanation without him being there. I'd rather get an explanation than not get an explanation, even if that means no actual Walt. The argument I don't get is 'the kid was a terrible actor'. Kids can be wierd people, and I didn't see a thing wrong with his acting. Who is anyone to say the kid didn't 'act well', given the situations the character had been through? Everyone will react to tragedy/big changes in different ways.
