I met Mira Furlan! w00t!!!
I managed to meet her at the Sci-fi conference in Milton Keynes. She is such a lovely woman, very quiet and reserved, but we chatted about Lost and Babylon 5 and it was such an honour to meet her. Shame she's not looking at the camera...it was at the end of the day so she was probably tired, or fed up with meeting mad Lost fans like me!

Congratulations, you are officially the unnoficial LOSTaway of the year, only a devoted and purehearted LOSTaway could give the cold shoulder to Jonathan Frakes and LeVar Burton. I would also do it, I am very open in my hatred of all things Star Trek.

Y'know, her accent always bothered me, but I could never be bothered to find out where hailed from. Serbia Croatia? I'm happy I know now!
And yes, I did say a passing "hi" to Riker and Jeordi from Star Trek, but I was more involved with meeting a few of the actors from Serenity, Red Dwarf, and of course, Mira Furlon. There were another few people there from Babylon 5...any Babylon 5 fans here? Mira was SO great as Delene. Also met Warwick Davis (Willow)...what a dude!

Wow that is so cool! I loved her in old yugoslavian TV-series, and I would have loved to meet her! And having Frakes and Burton in the same picture, way to go! Just for you to know, the country she is from is Yugoslavia, Serbia and Croatia were just 2 of 6 parts of it, and now all those 6 parts are separate countries... but Mira still considered herself Yugoslavian.
