I agree. It really brought together EVERYTHING that all three of them had done up until that point. The triangulation of their relationships made what Ben said, how Flocke was watching and waiting and how Jacob responded so perfect. I can't help but believe that Jacob, in his way, cared very deeply for Ben and didn't ignore him because he wasn't good enough, as Ben thought, but because he sincerely wanted Ben to figure out the right thing to do. And in a way, allowing himself to die for the island at Ben's hands without fighting him off, was his last attempt at reaching out to him, to SHOW him how sacrifice for the island is done.

Just read your last visitor message - yeah, The emmy's are like high school prom. The science and band geeks can win awards and acclaim in their own worlds, but unless there is enough cross over respect, the 'glamour' belongs to the 'cool' jocks and sexy cheerleaders.

The Emmys are biased against genre shows. Some of the seasons of Buffy and Angel blew away everything else on TV at the time, and they got next to nothing because they were fantasy shows. Once LOST became openly science fiction, it wasn't likely to win many awards.

Oh well. The real fans appreciated the work of the writers, cast, and crew. The Emmy voters and the haters know where they can go and what they can do to themselves when they get there.

For me, ME over TOQ... but that's just personal preference.

Hey I was wondering if you could recommend some books for me to read. I was never much into to reading but I'd like to start. Ive only read Hitchhikers Guide and the Harry Potter series. Start me somewhere in that general area.
