I'm back to cause Chaos!

I know, and I'd still like to see them playing at the Coliseum one day! I'll be sad if I never get to. Other sad news: the A's just traded their longest tenured player - Mark Ellis. Broke my heart, Oakland is the only place he's ever played!! Since 2009!! He's with the Rockies now, and had a fantastic debut last night. I'm catching the beginning of his game tonight, before I switch to the A's game in about an hour. (At least he didn't get traded to the wrong side of the Bay!! )

Dex was without internet yesterday, but when I told him you're from Oakland too he nearly blew his top! LOL He said once he gets his internet back he's going to be finding you for some hometown talk. It's funny, but that whole East Bay phenomenon is definitely real.

AAAAHHHHHHHHH!!! You're from Oakland??????? I had no idea! Are you a fan of the A's? Dex has immense East Bay pride, so I have some too, by proxy. In fact, I recently got him a couple of t-shirts from Oaklandish, to show his pride while he's on the other coast. There's talk again of the A's being sent somewhere else, Fremont or San Jose... which is sad.

No, but Dex is. His enjoyment of Bay Area baseball has infected me!

The night of the play is Good Friday (22nd April). Rick has already bought the tickets.
It actually runs from 14th March through to 4th June 2011.

I'm good. Just started a new job so that's always a bit nerve racking! BTW, you don't want NZ holidays because we miss out on 2 this year because one is on a Sunday and the other is Easter Monday already! Bugger!
Some exciting news, Rick (mattepntr) and I are looking at going to London to watch Matthew Fox in a play at the West-End!!!! Live!!! OMG!!! It's absolutely crazy because it'll cost me a fortune (sooo far away) but hey, you only live once right? And if we get to meet Foxy! Wow!
