haha, that's what moved the story to Michael's demise. That's what I like about the story. He screwed up, and then he tried to push the guilt onto his son.. He's a messed up guy.

I loved Michael. His character was sooo well put together.
and, yes Snakes on a Plane is a horrible, horrrible movie.
