Not saying that I think LA is a baddie or will be lynched today, but that scenario was the first thing to pop into my head when we started discussing whether or not she should be given a free pass for today.

Also, the time aapje subbed in to Penny's game and I had to get him lynched on his first day (in his first game!) because I had dirt on him and if I didn't come forward with something I was probably gonna get the noose instead

Sometimes players deserve free passes if they just came in. Sometimes they don't. If someone seriously feels that LA is their best choice for a vote today, I don't think that option should be totally ignored. She's not at the top of my list, though. I feel more strongly about DRD being a baddie, although I'd like to hear more of his defenses and/or reread some of his posts made before his maybe-slip-up.

This. I'm sad to see you leave Kyle and welcome LA and all that, but that doesn't mean i don't suspect you anymore. In fact, if anything i suspect you slightly more now because asking for a replacement would be a good way of losing heat.

I just went back and read from the night post forward, as I had an idea that didn't pan out. However, upon reading it again, I am really struck with a feeling of, "There's no way Kyle was a good guy". LA hasn't done anything of her own to raise my suspicion, but I think that Kyle had too much of it for me to ignore.

Thinking from a completely town perspective (as opposed to an 'I'm friends with you guys' one) it doesn't seem logical to give LA a pass. If Kyle was bad, she is bad, and it's not a civie thing to do to let a bad role live. I'm sorry LA, but I have to put you back atop my list.

This is really how I feel. I'm also not putting a lot of stock into her post as it really does sound like damage control and LA is real good at being bad.

My mafia playing time is going to be really limited over the next few months. I have school for 7 hours a day, then I have basketball for 3 hours after that. You add 8 hours for sleep on top of that and that leaves me about 6 hours for free time. Traveling in the car and waiting before/after school add even more time to that and I still have homework time to add and time I spend hanging out with friends. That leaves my mafia time limited from about 8-10:30 PM Central time and that's while I still do homework.

You younger folks go to school & do homework, us older folks go to work & do homework, like picking kids up at school & cooking dinner. Quiet, evasive Kobe is generally not good Kobe. Plus it isn't just the lack of posts, it's the complete lack of any cohesion in the posts you do make.

Still #1 on my list.

I agree with these posts. LA has been following the thread & knows what she was getting in to. She is incredibly convincing, and will probably post many suspicions today. Let's just watch for consistency. I still like Kobe for the lynch, but am willing to look at Kyle/LA because I think he was likely guilty as sin. Ergo, so is LA.

I also plan to watch the DRD & LH situations, especially DRD. I did not follow that as closely as I could have, as the whole Kyle thing was blowing up around me, lol, so I will catch up to that.

My truck o'stuff is supposed to arrive today, so I have a busy day ahead of me. Plus I have pre new job 'medical screenings' this AM, so I will be in & out again.

Because I think LH has done more things that seem bad to me. Even taking the flip flop out of it, he's still overreacted to accusations of him and also switcherooed...and, I admit, the way he gave the "I'm not going to be around for the next couple of days" right when the lynch was starting, kind of felt like a potential way that he was planning to slip out of being lynched--not that I doubt he's being truthful--I'm sure he is...but that doesn't mean that he isn't hiding behind real life...he could have posted in hopes that we'd forget about him--or wouldn't be willing to lynch him when he wasn't going to be around.

I find Kobe suspicious, but he's only done the one thing that makes me feel that way. He's also seemed like a baddie before and been falsely lynched...so that does give me some pause, I admit.

I wasn't asking for Map to be replaced for any specific reason other than not wanting to lose a "high power" civie role. As an example, what if Maps had been the tin man....would any of us (civies) want to have him mod killed? I didn't. I have had more time to think about the Kyle/LA situation. My first instinct is to let her play, but then after her first post about DRD, I got to thinking. LA is a veteran player. She comes into the game and has to do damage control right from the start. So she takes a person that has made a slip up, and builds a convincing argument against them. She is a smart player that understands the finer points of the game, and is able to present her argument in a way that suggests that we "certainly couldn't have overlooked" what she has seen, while slyly keeping from appearing to be pointing the finger away from her. I'm not saying that DRD isn't bad, he might very well be, I just thought that it was a masterful gambit on LA's part. However, to me, it only made me re think my position and put her at the top of my list.
