First let me say I am wiped out from a long shoot day so I'm reading this thread for the first time today.

Call it WIFOM if you like, but consider this, isn't it a bit convoluted to go through posting a defense of someone just to then turn around and say "see I must be a good guy because when I'm a baddie I don't defend my teammates"? It would be much easier to hang out in the background and not say anything about it, then just stick my vote with whomever looks to be surely lynched.

I mean why say something, that I then have to talk my way out for the strategy to work? If I was a baddie, it just seems like there are better and simpler ways of accomplishing the same goal. It's like burning down your house to prove you aren't an arsonist.

I still defend my post that BWIT's goofy post was not enough to convince me he was a baddie, but Frex statement makes the most sense. I have seen this sort of thing happen many times, someone posts some hours after mounting accusation, then say they can't believe everyone thinks they are guilty but never actually give a defense. Almost every time this happens that person is revealed to be a baddies.

WTF? seriously? I admit I'm an idiot, but one dumbass question and I'm having a noose around my neck. I don't even know where to start..

This has happened in every mafia game I've ever played. Day 1 always ends with someone who posts something a bit weird (which usually indicates they haven't got into the swing of the game yet and simply weren't paying attention) getting jumped on. I'm convinced the best way to go is not to say anything remotely on topic (except for asking the host a question, and even there you've got to be extra careful) until you've read the roles at least 6 times and the Q&A with the host has been completed.

I'm going with BWIT as well. If you really are a civvie, I'm sure this is frustrating, but honestly I just don't buy it. I think you slipped up, and everything you've done after the fact is consistent with that. And you could have done a lot more in your own defense.

I know giving the mice btsc and the ability to prevent them accidentally killing civvies is a really good prospect and something that we want to happen but I think Option 2 is way too dangerous. Even a 50% chance of the lookout getting to take advantage of it is too much.

And there's no guarantee it's going to work the first time so we could be talking about up to 2-3 extra kills and since the lookout isn't going to divert the kill to one of his own teammates then that's a good chance that one or more of us are going to die than necessary.

Furthermore, I'm not opposed to the mice trying to gain btsc in that way, in fact I think it's a good idea. It's just that talking about it too much in the thread will only help the Baddies take advantage of their blindness. >_<

But I guess that's just my opinion on the issue.

Also, I understand Bwit, but why Scocub?

I started out defending Bwit last night because he's my friend and I want him to have a good mafia experience, but then I realized that I was just being biased because of my friendship with him.

He really doesn't make a lot of helpful posts. (I'm sorry, Bwit, but it's true. ) and that in itself makes him a good candidate for the first lynch. Even so, I don't think I could vote for him with any confidence based just on what he's posted so far.

I don't know what this means, but to me, Aldo seems to be playing less aggressively in this game. I'm not very good at reading him though.

I definitely see what you're saying. In Firefly I defended you Seals and LT whenever I needed to. I remember defending some other players too especially before I found you in that game. You kind of have a unique perspective on me because you're the only person to have ever had btsc with me as a civvie.

The only time I can remember ever defending a teammate whilst playing as a baddie was in the last game (Twilight Mafia) in which I defended Losty McLost. *tries to block out bad memories*

Anyways, I'm not in a btsc team with Bwit.

My vote is going to go to Aldo because of what Gwaw was saying. I'm still nervous that the votes for Bwit could be some kind of bandwagon because he's easy to make look suspicious.

In actual fact, mathematically if everyone elft all voted for LH, he'd beat BWIT by 1 vote. Problem is, I don't see any reason to vote for LH. And a vote for anyone else at this point is effectively a vote for BWIT as it seals his fate.

Well, there's a bandwagon rushing into the lynch station with BWIT pinned under the wheels but I don't see the whites of a terrified civvie's eyes showing. Not only did he ask such a silly question, his previous team mates with knowledge of his playstyle have cast doubt upon him...and his defence...well isn't a defence. If he is lynched, which seems to be a foregone conclusion, and is bad, which he probably will be, tomorrow should be interesting.

However, do forgive me for not taking the easy road and jumping on-board with both feet but after rereading my eye (and voting finger) is fixed most firmly on Comfortably Numb.

Almost every post he has made has had something about the mice, initially I thought it was some overhinting on his part but now I think he perhaps wants us to think he's a mouse and I'm not buying it. He also returned to the plan after it had been declared unworkable for now due to the Lookout, suggesting nominating options for the mice....which helps the baddies not the civvies. I don't like it.

Also where is Map....I only saw one post from her.

I have no idea if BWIT is a baddie or a civvie. I just know he does some really bizzare stuff and he posts some really bizzare stuff. Both as a civvie and as a baddie. When I played with him he was a baddie and really was maybe the most bizzare person I ever played with, but he never made a post like the one that got him into trouble.. So, I have no idea..

GWAW painted a label on me, don't really know why. I think I actually for the most part agree with what he is saying. But because I think his (BWIT's) team would have reeled him in makes me a bad guy....na, not buying it. GWAW took this opportunity to vote for me... and cast doubt for the future. For that reason I will be voting for him.. Do I think he is a baddie? Don't know, but I find his actions more suspicios than I do BWIT's.. For all I know they could both be civvies or both be baddies....

The 1st Lynch is always the toughest.... this one is no different.
