BWIT, looking like my vote so far

I'm have a bit of trouble deciphering but I can say that I am in no way affiliated with BWIT.

Anyone who has ever played with me as a baddie knows that I never defend a fellow baddie. I have no idea if BWIT is bad or not but I did not think his post came across reeking of deception. It seemed more like genuine confusion. You never know what can get the ball rolling against someone so I though I should speak up about my take on his post. His could be a confused civvie or baddie but his confusion in itself does not make me lean one way or another on his alignment.

I've played a few games with BWIT...and he's a VERY tough read since he plays pretty much the same in ALL situations, but it should've been clearly obvious that the Mice were civvies and not any sort of baddies. That being said, there would be NO BENEFIT to BWIT for him to question this if indeed he is a baddie. I don't think there's enough on him for me to securely cast a vote for him quite yet, but I will be watching him closely.

I've played games with Bwit before, and in my experience, he's much quieter when he is a baddie. His "are the mice civvies?" question made me go "WTF? are you serious?" but in this game, he has been MUCH more active than in other games.

Blind Mice are confusing Mice. So, they CAN kill civvies, if they say the same person before ganing BTSC, but not once they have BTSC. Got it.

To me, this Bwit stuff makes it seem like he isn't even reading the thread at all. There were pages of discussions about the blind mice. I get that the situation is confusing but how on earth could he not have realised that the blind mice were civvies, regardless of his alignment? Did he just not bother to read the thread or what? The fact that he seems to be ignoring the thread is weird enough but I also find it a bit suspicious.

I found the bolded bit fairly suspicious. I didn't find your defense of Bwit suspicious but this makes me a bit suspicious. Textbook wifom, right? That is, if you're a baddie, you could directly defend Bwit because no-one would ever think you would do it as a baddie teammate of him. I thought it was suspicious that you pointed it out straight away, almost like you had planned to do it if questioned because you had that exact defense planned when you directly defended Bwit. If any of that makes sense. But yeah, hopefully someone gets what I mean.

As being one of the few who hasn't played with bwit (unless you were in Secret? i dont remember), im not sure what to make of his "odd" posts.
Sure, it was a weird question to ask, but is that enough to vote him off?

That being said, i have to vote in less than 2 hours and i don't have any real suspects. I'm not a huge fan of random-votes so hopefully something else pops up before i have to go.

I have to disagree with your assessment of LC's comment here, sco. I understood the same thing from Shinny's original post as he did. I don't think it is that very odd. He could be bad, trying to manipulate that situation but given the other comments he has made, it doesn't really jive at this point for me.

Uh, sorry to inform you but we often employ discussion of past game play style and strategy here. And it is considered fair play.

Ok, here are my thoughts on BWIT:

I have yet to see something that really made me feel like he was extremely suspicious. The blind mice comment made me think, "Are you serious?" While it was an outrageous question because a simple glance at the role list could tell you the answer to that, I don't think it definitely makes him a baddie.

Additionally, his original first post about Day 1 lynches being hard also did not strike me as all that weird. My first post was, "Woohoo, game on!" kind of post. Why do we do this? Because we all know that if we don't at least say something everyone will be on our back for being non-posters. It's ridiculous but true. What experience I have playing with BWIT, he has usually contributed little, and his posts thus far don't seem that out of the ordinary for him.

Lent, you tried to paint it like people defending him are making it out to be jokey. I have not seen anyone say BWIT was joking around. I saw people say that this is pretty typical of BWIT and that you really can't judge based on that alone. I think what they are saying is true from my experience with him. I don't understand why you have tried to take it in a direction I did not see anyone else taking it with that comment. Gotta be honest, this has me feeling the need to watch you a bit.

Honestly, I am feeling kinda like we are being led into a bandwagon here and the whole thing just makes me nervous. I don't know BWIT's alignment, and since it looks like he is likely to be lynched today I hope I am wrong about the current situation.

I'm so surprised that people are jumping all over BWITs silly question. If he was a baddie wouldn't he just ask his teammates? I don't remember him asking questions like this in the thread during 70's Mafia... But those who were either on his team or are friends with him say this isn't unusual.

I won't be voting for BWIT today, when I'm actually able to go over the thread in more detail I'll most likely be picking one of those who was quick to jump on him...

I have played with BWIT, and quite a bit, too. I have been on a btsc team with him, and played against him. Bwit is a skim reader, to some extent, so he sometimes misses things, and isn't afraid to ask for help (which I think is good, clarity is good, no question is a stupid question). That's all. If you look back at games BWIT has played, this always happens; he says some weird thing, or some totally vacuous thing & everyone freaks out~

Part of it, I think, is also Day 1 "Getting to Know You" on the parts of all the players.

Which isn't to say he's not a baddie . He is exactly the same, good or bad, IMO, in pretty much every game. So those posts alone won't lead me to vote for him, but it is always a good idea to keep a close eye on BWIT~

I have to vote early, I will be on the road all day today. I will check back in before I leave this AM, and if nothing hits me, I will vote when I stop for lunch~
