I can confidently say right now that if there are many more subforums, we can pretty much kiss the board goodbye. I've seen it time and again...boards divide and divide the forums in order to supposedly organize things, but it just gets complicated and jumbled.

I hate to be this kind of guy...but if we go to a theories/truth platform, I'm gone. I might come back after S6, when it doesn't matter anymore (and one or the other would cease to exist because it's no longer needed)...but until then, I don't care enough to figure out if what I'm saying is a "theory" or not. There's already a spoiler forum, which I would think would be the main issue...don't know why we need anything else, honestly.

...so yeah...I voted "keep it how it is."

nothing we do will be set in stone of course. We're just seeing what people think right now - anything we do can be reversed; it would be interesting to see how some of these work in practice

Q&A as well. I don't mind answering questions here and there.

I agree - a lot of threads are created that just have a question or two, and it would cut out a lot of the issues in the MF. Plus it would be really easy for users to flip down the pages and see if their question is answered. Also, having a separate forum for those questions would make it really easy for users to search for a specific question. Kind of like how Dark has his.

And my take on the theory subforum would be for the all-encompassing, major theories. Like timelooptheory.com, etc. Not like "I think that Jin isn't really dead" - thats a total MF thread. But "Jin has 4 toes and is Jacob.. here's why" would go in the theory forum. You know?

Another thing for the prefixes and/or Q&A. A thread should have the options "answered", "unanswered", or "unsolvable"... some kind of identifiers.

Not only that, but the chosen post could somehow be moved right after the initial post. You know, some way to identify the question and answer quickly. That way, users who want to know the answer won't have to go digging through the thread.

This would also help the answerers from not going into threads that have already been answered.
