![]() I might go back and try to ... I would like to see the other ending ... I just don't know if I will be able to take those little sisters out.

I've gotten both endings...and it only takes 1 dead little sister to get the bad ending. Now I'm playing through it a 3rd time just cuz it's that damn fun!!!! I totally see the parallels to Lost, although Bioshock is definitly scarier and creepier.

Another thing this game has a lot of similarities to is the Ayn Rand novel Atlas Shrugged. A lot of people have said it pays homage to the novel, but I don't think those people have read much Ayn Rand. It seems to me more like an indictment of the philosophies represented by the book.

After reading through this thread, I just spent about a half hour at the Bioshock website.
First off, this game looks like it's very well produced. I love the fact that this hidden city isn't in the future, or designed today, but rather it's from the 50's. That gives a very cool retro look. Now looking at the site with Lost in mind, I'd say the game itself is nothing like Lost. However I did see some Lost-like aspects to it. A Utopian society built away from humanity that breaks down...... The Island? So, Lost-like or not, I'm getting this game.

I just finished playing the third time through...
Trust me on this, saving the little sisters results in a better ending. I am a friend of evil/bad endings, but I couldn't help but feel like a c**t for screwing over Tenebaum like that. I can't wait for the movie!

Bioshock steals liberally from Ayn Rand. Its brilliantly put together, clever, well written and beautiful... However, if you want some Lost analogies and connections, go for Ayn Rand novels.
Also for some Lost based Rand loving, Par Avion is your episode. Sawyer is reading The Fountainhead - a Rand book. |

There was not a single game in 2007 that gave me that feeling of "oh shiiiii..........." then when I'd acidentally hurt a Big Daddy under my control only to have it charge at me whilst vulnerable... Though the funniest thing you can do in the game is make BD's fight each other

Another great thing about the game is the characters that you never even meet become such a big part in the game! Diane, Tenebaum, Papparazi, etc.
