Keeping track of Unread Posts

What do you guys mean by "unread posts?" Do you mean the 24 hour refresh in the new posts postbit?

for me, if I quote a post, then go back to the forum it marks it as unread, but if I do quick reply it is marked as read it also seems that the threads go back to unread if you get off and back on in less than 30 minutes

Yeah--I've noticed the same pattern, Mike. Also (as has been said) that if you leave for a long time (I've never timed it, but lets say several hours), things automatically look as if they've been read, even if they haven't been.

This has actually low level annoyed me for a while. Thanks for bringing this up, LC. Even if it's not fixable, at least I know it's not just me!

God, this is SO CRAPPY! I caught up on LA's Mafia game, and then went to check some other threads, and I came back and clicked 'go to last unread post' on the Mafia game, and it took me to 11:30 last night, even though I had caught up to 8:30 this morning.

DON'T YOU CARE THAT YOUR SITE IS FAILING?
