she will be back. They have already said so. She "died" in the season 5 finale, but we will see her in season six, flashback/alt. reality or whatever.

I really don't think they wanted to kill Juliet. I doubt they were gunna kill anyone at the very end other then Faraday. I think they added the Juliet stuff because they may not have been sure if her new show would be big or not and they didnt want to kill her just incase it wasnt, but they didnt want to not kill her if it was. Hence why we got that very last boom flash to Lost. So we'd be guessing but we would not know for sure what happend and it would give the writers plenty of time to find out Elizabeth Mitchells future with V. They can basically go either way at the beginning of season 6.

Doesn't mean the bomb went off necessarily. She was dead anyway after that fall and she seemed to know it, hence the crying and thinking "might as well explode the bomb then".

True, not saying I agree, but could definitely be right, so I can't argue.

If all this alternate reality stuff for S6 is true (which I'm now convinced it is) then it's not going to matter if someone was killed by being put through a wood chipper. They can still be alive in the other/alternate reality/timeline/whatever thingy.

(oh - my 400th post)

There’s still something very significant that we have not yet learned about the character,” hints Cuse).

LINDELOF: “Juliet basically birthed season 6 by the actions that she takes in the final seconds of season 5. She is completely responsible for the end game of the show. So the character is going to be seen in a slightly different light this year. We gave her that action for a reason, and that’s because she’s so important to the fabric of the story.”
So the Incident triggers the end game, but what could be the "very significant thing" about Juliet that we have yet to learn? Clue could lie in the scenes showing Jake visiting everyone but Juliet. Maybe he did visit her, but we have yet to see it.

I figured someone would get to quoting this. I think it's hecka interesting, but I hope it doesn't ruin anything. I don't want it to engrain everything with Juliet even though she's supposed to be gone... but by logic, it seems like it ENTIRELY engrains the season with her and we know she won't be a reg... anyhow...

My guess for Adam and Eve: Widmore and Hawking.
My guess for the eventual overall 'hero': Jack.
My guess for who Christian is: still... kinda... Christian.

The actress who plays Juliet is starring in a new TV show called V that started today, so if she's in season 6 it will be cameo and not often.

Cool

^ The show V has only 4 episodes this year and will resume next year in March. Something ABC says they always planned to do.

As for Juliet if she's really dead I don't think they did a good enough goodbye. I think the bomb went off but still the exotic matter could've saved her just like it only made Des naked after imploding the hatch(unless Des is so special that implosions only affect his clothes).

haha, what? Even after we're explicitly TOLD she is dead, you still think that was possible? That was my early theory after the finale aired, but they have now said she's dead. TOAST. Splattered flesh at the bottom of a hole. If even that.

Who knows what her S6 appearances will amount to, so she could very well still have a 'good enough goodbye'.
