Well the thing is we don't have any idea what should happen. The release of the failsafe made Desmond mind TT, combine that with a h-bomb that we think went off but don't really know... Thing is we admit we don't know and that's about all we can come up w/ in that direction. At least we aren't claiming to know the end game like some recent threads. That's "the fast way" to bring them together. That's why I think they'll take more time w/ it.

The attitude Damon and Carlton displayed toward certain things in that EW interview (among others) makes me seriously doubt there will be any significant alternate reality next season.

I think some people are barking up the totally wrong tree with their theories.

Isnt it the POINT of the incident. To get everyone back to where they belong. AS for the orchid causing time travel. Whats your point? The losties have been flashing thru time regularly. The flashing has been deliberate so why would it not happen again.
About Juliets injuries, since when has that stopped the Islandf from healing people.

the flashing was a direct result of the wheel being turned and then getting stuck off axis. It relates to the Orchid. You can't say we have specific reason yet to think that the Swan dos the same thing. And no. The point of what Dan and Jack thought they were trying to do was to change things and eliminate the incident from happening. It just turned out the joke was on them as the Incident wasn't just a release of energy but also them lighting off that bomb at the same time.

Is time travel the point of the incident? The answer depends on whether you think Jack/Faraday are correct OR whether Miles is correct. So its not so cut and dry in my understanding. Time flashng stopped for on Island folk when the wheel under the orchid was returned to its axis by Locke.
