Juliet is NOT dead

over and over I see statements that Juliet is dead at the end of S5.
Where is the foundation of these statements.

The way I see it, the bomb IS the incident. That means everything that allready happened ...happened. No reset, no ulternate universe crap, and especialy no landing in LAX. At least not right after the blast.

The bomb blast will either kill everyone ( all the 77 losties dead....I THINK NOT)
or there will be another flash that will bring all the losties hopefuly to the present time on the island. Simply. the flashed to 1977 for a reason and now they will flash to the present for another reason.
Why would Juliet be the one exception?

I hope you're right about no alternate universe stuff. If it were up to me, the 1977 Losties would just have their butts dumped in 2007 and we would get on with the real story. The show has stalled long enough IMO.

But you never really know what Darlton might do.

I think they'd be rushing what they're trying to do. They said they intentionally put them all as far apart as possible so our big question would be "How do they get back together in time for what's going down?" But I don't really know what they're doing. I thought they were rushing the rescue-O6-coming back thing, but it worked cuz they know what they're doing. So I guess it could just flash them home.

I'm also torn on Juliet. I can see the argument for both why she may or may not be dead. She was pretty banged up but we've seen how the Island heals fast when it wants.

Exactly. I don't really know about Juliet. The way they could get around the whole "if the blast killed her then it killed everyone up above too" would be for the white light to have been another time flash at around the same time of the detonation. They all flash to some other time and Juliet dies from her falling injuries and burns. But that's all I can come up with.

Why do you think the incident would cause another timetravel flash? Isn't the Orchid the only place where timetravel has been triggered? I'm pretty sure Juliet would die from injuries sustained in the fall unless maybe she time traveled well into the future and someone would have the medical knowledge to bring her back to life. Maybe Juliets Greatgreat great granddaughter creating the famous grandaughter future timetravel paradox.
