Myth: The Island is not a yellow submarine
Fact: The Island is a yellow submarine.

Evidence and Analysis: The song "Yellow Submarine" was a single by the Beatles, and we have yet to see a single beetle on The Island. Coincidence? I think not. The DHARMA Initiative has a strong connection with submarines. They use one to travel back and forth between "The 'Island'" and the mainland. This would take copious amounts of fuel suitable for use within a submarine. What better place to find the proper means of running a submarine than ANOTHER submarine?

Need more proof? How about some photographic and or video evidence (keep in mind that these photographs or videos have not been photoshopped, nor tampered with, in any way).

The similarities are striking.

The wheel that you see Ben turning in the beginning of the latter clip is obviously what steers the sub.

There are other parallels to subs. For instance, Hurley has actually GAINED weight over the last few years! Remind you of anyone?
