I'm pretty sure most people are aware of this, but you have to remember Lost threw science out of the window the moment they introduced 'Geologically unique' electromagnetism in Season 2. I personally don't believe that Jughead will play a part in The Swan... But I don't put it past the writers, because it would be a way for them to tie Jughead into the mythology of the show.

if there is a room with something that big and powerfull in it than id hope they would put it in the show!!! Seems like they wouldnt build an inncident room until there was an inncident that needed a room to fix it? Unless the room was what the swan was actually built for?

The writer's wouldn't create that large of a fallacy on the show.

The fictional science in LOST includes areas of science that haven't been proven or discovered yet, so they are free to write about time-travel and exotic matter all they want since even in reality all of that is speculative.

however, they aren't going to take what's already been proven to be true (e.g. gravity) and completely change it around. I DO put it past the writers to claim that Jughead is the source of the anomalous electromagnetism on the island because that is just purely ridiculous. hydrogen bombs are very real things and them not emitting electromagnetic radiation when they're idle is a very real fact about them which the writers aren't going to mess with.

it's called the Incident Room because that is the room in which the Incident occurred. The incident room is most definitely one of the main parts of the Swan that is used to study the anomalous EM properties of that part of the island.

I must agree. to say that the writers can ignore science just because they use time travel and exotic matter is ridiculous.
they can use science fiction because we don't know if time travel and exotic mater and such are possible or not. we KNOW that H-bombs don't cause electromagnetism though, so we can dismiss the damn jughead-incident theories with ease. or at least I can. then I can laugh at all those who believe it once we see what the incident was. I guarantee you that judhead is not why the swan has electromagnetic anomalies.

Nope, the incident room was what the countdown and the swan computer were built for.
As already stated, before of the incident the Swan was just an EM research lab
