first post here, hope i'm not repeating nothing
it's a theory that i have about the show and the more i think, the more i find it close from the possible truth. http://paranormal.about.com/library/.../aa090400a.htm if you read it all and well you'l feel some things extremly familiar and that could explain a lot of things such as: Fenry saying:"God doesn't know how long we've been here" - maybe because God can't see them at all, if they are from there The hieroglyphs on the counter showing something like "Underworld" -could be under-world And even that close up at the beginning of the show. The "O" from LOST, like entering a hole the hanso foundation and dharma could have been created after a contact with civilazations like those, or even with Magnus Hanso an explorer having found some kind of entrance there well it's my point of view, feel free to reply... |

OK I thin I see... Interesting! I had not thought of the connection between Faery tales and the underworlders. But the kidnapping angle is a strong connection...
From your link to the Underworlder legends The Old Ones The Beings. In an article entitled "The Hollow Earth: Myth or Reality" for Atlantis Rising, Brad Steiger writes of the legends of "the Old Ones," an ancient race that populated the surface world millions of years ago and then moved underground. "The Old Ones, an immensely intelligent and scientifically advanced race," Steiger writes, "have chosen to structure their own environment under the surface of the planet and manufacture all their necessities. The Old Ones are hominid, extremely long-lived, and pre-date Homo sapiens by more than a million years. The Old Ones generally remain aloof from the surface peoples, but from time to time, they have been known to offer constructive criticism; and it has been said, they often kidnap human children to tutor and rear as their own." |

If you have material to create a Theory entry please do so. That's what we are for, after all.

Thanks for sharing that - as theories go, it really makes the most sense and seems to have the most connections. Very satisfying food for thought
Could the mysterious source of the electro-magnetism be the vastly superior technology described in the article...? What if the purpose of entering the code was to keep something catacylismic to humanity from happening, to give us more time before these "people" decided to euthanize us before we totally ruin the planet? Might that pulse of energy have initiated some kind of mutation in surface dwelling humans that will eventually cause our extinction? "LOST time" is now signifigantly behind "our time". Someone help me out... is it about a year and a half? Closer to two years behind our "now"? Anyway, if this alt.reality game is playing out in "our time," - as it must be if Rachel Blake can show up at ComicCon - then there has been time between that fail safe pulse and whatever happened in Sri Lanka. One of the clips shows Mittlewerk talking about "hitting specific genetic targets" Maybe SPIDER protocol will have something to do with identifying people with the mutation and removing them from the gene pool. Could RB's mother have been assassinated for such a reason...? Either for being afflicted with the mutation or for being a voice of dissent over the ethics of carrying out the protocol? |
