No question, just a comment. My first impression was awful. People here are rude. I am seriously unlike to post anything else.

I think you need a sticky that states that rude behavior will not be tolerated.

Sorry you feel that way and we do take action to curb rude behavior however your definition of rude seems to include the majority of people not agreeing with you or liking what you posted. We do allow that but when it gets to namecalling and insults we will step in. Posts like that should be reported using the report post function on the top left of the post.

not liking and being rude about it are two different things. Others have even pmed me stating this is common and tolerated. Clearly I am in the wrong place. Goodbye!

I don't think you can delete your account, what you'd have to do is just, well, stop coming here.

And to the user that posted about two people in the same house having accounts here, no, it's not sockpuppeting. Sometimes people that live together share a computer and happen to enjoy the same message boards. The mods may ask you guys what's going on, but most of the time it's obvious when it's a sockpuppet situation.

Yeah, my husband created an account here, he should hopefully start posting when S6 starts. He's not we'll just say as....fanatical...about Lost as I am.

We've also been on other boards together, such as a WoT one. It happens.

I felt the same way when I joined......

thick skin goes a long way on an internet forum....sometimes things seem ruder than they actually are when they are just text on a screen

Hey guys. It's been a while since I posted here.
I have a kind of 'countdown to season 6' blog going on and was wondering the best was to plug it on these boards without breaking any rules or being accused of spamming.

Any suggestions?
