Shame about the team though absolutely dire. And everyone can watch on BBC1 this weekend when Preston stuff us !
Just like I laughed when Newcastle got embarrassed by Brum
Oh. My Uncle supports City. And a friend of the family has just been signed up for the youth team (he is only 8).

But why the negativity. They arent that bad although they do seem to be a team of thugs (e.g Barton and Thatcher before he left). I hope you do beat Preston though - My friend supports them.

And how funny was the Birmingham - Newcastle game. What a joke. .

Not negative just a realist we are going nowhere at the moment.
Watching them is like pushing that button for 90 minutes!

Haha. Interesting simile anyway.

They are doing pretty bad again this season and I think you may get beaten today. If it goes to a replay though, I think you will get through easily enough.

Man Utd fan here.

Not from Manchester or anything. Just a bit of a glory hunter to be honest. See, when I first started watching footie, I wanted to support a Premiership team to me, but there weren't any that were based anywhere near me at the time. The nearest ones now are Fulham and Reading, but even they're quite some distance and they weren't in the Premiership at the time.

So I saw Utd and liked the way they play. Loving them right now, best team they've had since they won the treble. Think all the recent new signings like Evra, Heinze, Vidic, Park and Carrick are all great (although 18 mill for Carrick was a bit steep).

But I often find the most exciting thing about each season is watching the Premiership relegation battle. The only team in the bottom four without a hope of surviving this year are West Ham. I think that there is some hope of Watford or Charlton overtaking Wigan (if Watford beat Wigan midweek), but I don't see West Ham ever winning again this season to be honest. Curbishley has made things even worse; he basically slated all his players and promised big signings, then brought in a bunch of average players. 6 million for Matthew Upson? Come on, he's worth a million at the very most.

Yeah, I've gone on a bit here. I always do about footie though.

Well I'll ignore the fact that your a red
Yep, the relegation battle is more interexting than the race for the title as these are more teams in the mix for that so I agree!
I've heard taht AC has 3 games or he'll get the sack!
Incredble! However every signing he has made has a get out clause! Stupid!
They won't be mithered if they get relegated then will they?

Hello, I support Everton. Decent season this year, and I do not know how Mikel Arteta is uncapped.

I also follow Tranmere because it's cheap, I've been to all the home games this season and four away games; Oldham, Notts Forest, Swansea (Absolutely miles away!) and Crewe.

I have only been to two Everton games due to lack of money, they were Arsenal (Cup) and Blackburn (Cup). Got beat 1-0 and 4-1.

How about Arsenal instead. I hope you rip them apart. I never thought I would be hoping for a City win. But even if Arsenal lose, I hope you still beat Blackburn, becasue it means Chelseas route to the cup is easier (my Dad is a fan).

Figured I'd post this to this thread...

In 3x08 Flashes Before Your Eyes, what can you tell us about the "Graybridge" game in the transcript for that episode?

Is the team fictional, or real? If real, was this a real game from the correct time period? etc.
