CHARLOTTE: I'm not allowed to have chocolate before dinner.

FARADAY: [Sighs] It's okay, sweetheart. I won't tell.

CHARLOTTE: My name's Charlotte. What's yours?

FARADAY: I'm Daniel. I'm new here. Listen. Do you know Dr. Chang?

CHARLOTTE: Uh-huh.

FARADAY: Yeah? Hopefully really soon, Dr. Chang is gonna ask a bunch of people to get on the submarine and leave the Island. [Voice breaks] When he does, you and your mommy... you're gonna have to leave. In case what I do doesn't work, you cannot be here. You have to leave. [Cries] I tried to avoid telling you this. I didn't think I could change things. But maybe I can.

Transcript from This Place is Death:

[Charlotte and Daniel, by the stream]

CHARLOTTE: [Coughing] Daniel?

DANIEL: Yes?

CHARLOTTE: I’ve been here before.

DANIEL: You’ve been...been here before?

CHARLOTTE: I grew up here...on the island. And there was this thing...this... DHARMA Initiative. And then...I moved away with my mum. Just my mum...and...I never saw my dad again. And then when I got back to England, I would...I would...ask my mum about this place, yeah? But she would say that it wasn’t real...and that I’d made it up. That’s why... I became an anthropologist. To find this island again. It’s what...I’ve been searching for my whole life.

DANIEL: Charlotte...why are you telling me this?

CHARLOTTE: Because I remember something now. When I was little, living here, there was this man... a crazy man, he really scared me. And he told me that I had to leave the island and never ever come back. He told me that if I came back I would die.

DANIEL: Charlotte, I don’t understand.

CHARLOTTE: Daniel – I think that man was you.

Daniel didn't say that to her. So, did he change something, or should we just chalk it up to either Charlotte misremembering because she was a kid/minor script error/some other triviality?

It is implied that Daniel told Charlotte to never return to the Island, I thot that was obvious

As I recall, Daniel continued to talk to young Charlotte after the camera pulled back. We didn't hear everything he said to her.

yeah that is what it is. The camera pulls back and then cuts to black in Daniel's midway of telling CHarlotte to never come back.

Yeah, I've wondered if Faraday was able to have a different conversation with charlotte... After the whole TLADOJB fiasco though, it doesn't seem worth analyzing. Dialogue references seem apt to change.

a person's perception makes an event what it is in their mind. you and i could be at a party and hear a story from someone at the same time and recall it differently or relate a portion differently to someone. for instance- a man at a party mentions he has been dating two women at the same time.
man: yes julia and i are doing great. thanks for asking.
she and i are seeing other people.

perception 1: julia and man are in an open relationship
perception 2: julia and man have broken up

so when we relate the story to another we remember it only as it relates to our perception and personal journey (ie if we believe in open relationships, or are a person that has been 'cheated' on may see it a whole different way... we are all different filters.

i do believe that things were different in many different 1977s. depending on which part you look at. it all happened at once everywhere at each moment. there is only one moment.

to relate this to the show, i believe things were different in several instances(the infinite different 1977s actually exist). the 'original' 1977 where no one travelled back in time, including the 1954 visit so the island was a dead zone due to radiation. or the one where the time travelling occurred and stopped in 1954 or.. okay mind boggling.
start again. i do believe that things were changed. i do believe there was once a picture of the 1974 recruits that did not include the losties. i believe the 'memory' charlotte had was like an implanted one, like the desmond ones, and that she had it as daniel said it in a parallel universe. and then in yet another one, he said it a bit differently.
i also believe that things are changed because the bomb was not 'the incident' in the 'original' chain of events that led to chang making the swan orientation video. i believe it because of the transcript for it found in the episode 'orientation' (on my phone, can't link)

so yes, faraday changed things. just as having a la fleur changed things, just as having juliet die blowing up a bomb changed things. i do not believe next season will be the plane flying to lax however. i believe chang will help the remaining lefties and losties get back to the 'correct' time for them, the point at which all was as it was in their collective consciousness previously. in the time where there had been no explosion in 1977 and the hatch had been built and had an 'incident' because of electromagnetic discharge as it said in the video. my mind is swirling, must stop

That said, it is frustrating that Faraday did not explicitly tell Charlotte in the scene we saw that she would die if she returned.

I don't know but we wont find out until next year. I never thought about it until you mentioned it just then.
