EW claims two characters will die at end of season

It says Lost will have at least two characters killed off at the end of the season. One being a major character and the other not so major. It worries me that at the top they show Desmond, and I'm sure they don't know who it is but that would suck if it was him. who do you guys think they could be?

Sadly, I think you're right. Daniel is one of my favorite characters and he didn't get a ton of spotlight last season, so I'll be sad to see him go (though The Variable will probably be his centric, so there's that to look forward to). And Desmond and Penny's relationship is about the only one on this show that doesn't annoy the hell out of me (well, actually I think Sawyer and Juliet are good together, but we just know there's drama around the corner when Kate finds out...) And Penny's death explains that scene from 316 (you know the one ) and certainly would provide ample incentive for Desmond to return to the Island, something he was adamantly opposed to.

Why can't they just kill off Bernard instead? Seriously, his character's going nowhere and has been missing for 6 episodes. Rose is a total badass, so they can keep her, but giver a little suffering to make her even more of a badass.

Wow. People still don't get the concept of the show yet.

Just because we see how someone dies in one time period, doesn't mean they can't have big parts in other time periods.

It would seem they all have to die sometime.

The death of a major-ish character? It has to be Sun. That is why Ben and her did not go to the 70's. They are both already there and you can't exist in the same place twice. That is why Charlotte died or didn't move in time as well. We know Sun's father is associated with the island. I think she may be the doctors daughter, But back to Sun dying.... I would say it is the only explanation but it's LOST....
