Default Esperanto

omg. i think i found something. now help me make something of it:

i wikipedia'ed December 15 and found that day is Zamenhof Day

now with Jessie Heiman's facebook page mentioning something about the universal language. . . this is VERY relevant! Zamenhof is the creator of Esperanto the most widely spoken international language!!!

there is some connection to Rousseau, "Patience is Bitter but its fruit is sweet", and Esperanto also. . . i'm just having trouble finding exactly what it is. . . can anyone help?

now what do we do with this info? or is Jessie sending us on a wild swan hunt?

I heard about esperanto on cashcab last week and forgot about it.
Cool stuff.
Who's Jessie Heiman?
I'm not such an advanced arg player.

jessie is the actor who played dan bronson at comic-con. apparently, he just started posting messages on his facebook account (i don't have a facebook acct, so i haven't checked it out myself). . .something about the universal language being the answer and it's not the color of the swan but the hemisphere. . . (if anyone knows the exact wording, please post it!)

problem is, no one is sure if this is a reliable source. . . but seems possible to me, since things seem to be connected so nicely. . . .

I don't have a facebook account neither. I have to outsource that part of the investigation to my wife. She has a facebook account I think I can "convince" her to check it out for us.

Seems like a great lead, thanks for the heads up! Gives me something to hold on to.

Weird thing here...Zamenhof was born on December 15th, 1859; Zamenhof day can be traced back to his birthday party on December 17, 1878, where he presented to his friends his Lingwe uniwersala, the first version of his international language. Anyone seen his book: Unua Libro.

Also, there have been two films shot entirely in esperanto: Angoroi(agonies) in 1964 is the French film about some murder or something and the Incubus, starring none other than William Shatner was shot in 1965. Now that's weird.
