I don't buy it and I would bet money the writers would never make something THIS far fetched up. No way, it makes no sense and I honestly don't see how any sense could be made of it. I think this tidbit of information is false and either fan made or released on purpose to side track fans.
Well Keamy may never become a mercenary in the alt-timeline, 30+ years has been changed.

Anyway I can accept the idea of destiny tying everyone together their lives were all intertwined before the island.

Your idea or spoiler from any source?

So in the alt. timeline she didn't die while giving birth to Ben? Does anyone know if Michael Emerson's wife Carrie has been sighted in Hawaii?

I don't think we're gonna see Michael Emerson and Carrie Preston in the same scene with her playing his mother

An update from Ryan:

An early morning Twitter post from local social media star Russ (a.k.a. @ParkRat) revealed the tell-tale presence of production trailers near Kahala Mall. It was a modest, interior shoot, so there were few details. But those few details are still worth pondering.

A visiting fan followed Russ’ clue to a residential street just off Kilauea Ave. All the magic was happening inside a plain looking home. But two actors were seen coming and going from the set: Michael Emerson (Ben) and Jon Gries (Roger Linus, Ben’s father). Later in the day, Tania Raymonde (Alex) was spotted.

There’s no telling exactly where and when the scene was set, but the visiting fan was able to overhear one tantalizing line of dialogue for Roger Linus, as referenced by the script supervisor:

“This is not the life I wanted for you, Ben.”

Whatever Ben’s been up to, mixing with students and teachers in a high school, it sounds like he’s still disappointing his dad.

It could also be what Roger says before him and Ben leave the island for good. Seeing how everything in the alt-verse has course correction, maybe Roger Linus decided to man up and take care of his kid, much like we see Roger at the end of the 5th season starting to open up and realize that the way he is treating Ben is wrong and inhumane. You could tell Roger was really torn up emotionally when Ben was shot and then went missing all of a sudden. He turned into a father at that point in time because he didn't miss it until it was gone. Maybe in the alt verse something caused Roger to grow up and be a dad and he made the choice to leave the island with Ben because he felt Ben deserved more than a dangerous childhood on a mysterious island with smoke monsters and diseases and hostiles shooting at people.

And by saying "Not the life I wanted for you" it seems to me that Roger went from not giving a shit about his kid to actually wanting something for him. The way its worded to me sounds more fatherly than he is looking down on him.

I'm not saying the alt stuff is fake. I'm saying I think this spoiler may have been taken out of context or fabricated. You cant expect every spoiler you read to be true, some are bound to be made up. If I was the producers and writers of a show this built up, I would throw some fake information around to keep people sidetracked na dnot figure it all out before it airs.
