^Exactly. I'm far less interested in WHAT'S going to happen, I want to know WHY there's an A/T. Will it somehow affect the real one? I hope yes because then it won't be a total waste of time.

Just for the record, I don't have the exact quote but it's out there, Matt Fox has said something like 'the premiere picks up from the finale; and the viewers will initially be completely confused by whats going on'. So I think this alt stuff will of course seem to be leading nowhere, but I trust Darlton that they will make sense of it. This WILL NOT be a waste of time!! I don't know how, because it seems exactly like it would be, but I HAVE FAITH =)

If this is in the alt-reality I think the surprise (given the title) will be that it is still a Charlie centric and he just has some really important relationship with Dr. Linus in the alt. reality.
